Ph.D. candidate at ISAW-NYU and the mind behind ArchaeoHack 2025. Her work spans Archaeology, biomolecular sciences, and computational sciences. Bachelor's from Yale-NUS College, MA from Harvard as a Harvard-Yenching scholar.
Stefano Apra
Co-Organizer
Ph.D. candidate at ISAW-NYU focusing on Bronze Age and Iron Age Anatolia and the Levant, and digital humanities. BA from University of Turin, MA from Free University of Berlin. Field archaeologist in Italy, Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia.

Joint appointment in Center for Robotics and Dept of Anthropology. Ph.D. from Wuhan University. Work in computer vision (CVPR, ICCV) and robotics (ICRA). MIT EECS Rising Stars 2025 selectee.
Ida Adsboel Christensen
PhD Candidate, ISAW-NYU
BA and MA in Egyptology from University of Copenhagen. Specializes in ancient Egyptian philology, particularly Demotic texts and Egyptian scientific traditions. Research on astrological handbooks in Demotic. Also serves as Judge.

Dion Ho
Applied Math Ph.D. candidate at Columbia. Work spans numerical methods, GPU computing, and adversarial image perturbations. Author of PythonicDISORT radiative transfer solver. Research on data-driven closure discovery.

Ph.D. student in Human-Computer Interaction at NYU Tandon. Research on generative AI for reasoning and decision-making. Published in CHI, DIS, ACM Interactions. Previously in VC and startups in Singapore.
Dr. Ashish Kumar
Ph.D. in Machine Learning from NTU Singapore. Co-founder of Konigle, a VC-backed company. Passionate about deep learning and LLMs. Active hackathon participant during his PhD years.

Dr. Patrick J. Burns
Associate Research Scholar and Research Associate Professor at ISAW. Maintainer of LatinCy NLP pipelines. Co-developer of Latin BERT. Teaches courses on Digital Humanities and AI for the Ancient World.
