About the Event
What is ArchaeoHack?
ArchaeoHack is a premier interdisciplinary hackathon that bridges the gap between ancient wisdom and modern innovation. Over an intensive weekend, students from all backgrounds come together to explore the fascinating world of ancient writing systems, specifically Egyptian Hieroglyphs, through the lens of technology.
This past year's challenge: build a machine learning-powered recognition tool for an ancient writing system. No prior experience required — we provide workshops on AI coding, ML algorithms, and ancient scripts!
